Perth - The wedding!

Well i write this from my Uncle's study in Perth. It is the night after my cousin Hayley's wedding to Martin and everyone is having an early night as we are all so tired, so i thought i'd use this time to write to you all! I have been here for a week and half (i so can't believe it's been that long!) and we have been running around sorting out lots of last minute things, shopping lots, having a Hens night and kitchen Tea, and so much more. And now the day has been and gone, i so can't believe it! ....

We woke up to an awesome day; 24degrees, blue sky with some clouds and hardly any wind! The 3 bridesmaids (Myself, Clare - Hayleys best friend, and Sarah - Martin's sister) as well as the mother of the bride and of course the bride herself went out for breakfast. At the end of a very filling breakie Hayley rang the Limo guy to check the times he was coming later that day only to find out that the Limo was out of service!! We could believe what we were hearing, the guy wasn't going to ring us he was simply going to turn up with 2 black BMWs instread of a White Limo... Can you see the problem! So we told him to F-off and we got onto the phone and luckily after a few tries we found an awesome new one!! Luckily that was the only thing that went wrong throught the whole day!!

We then all had our hair done and then back home to get our makeup done (we did this ourselves) and get dressed. The photographer then came and it was time for Hayley to get into her GORGIOUS dress and have photos taken around the house. The Limo then arrived and it was off to the ceremony. The Groom, Martin, looked lovely and handsome and so did his groomsmen! It was awesome to see everyone all dressed up and looking good. You should have seen my brother in his suit, Catching all the girls eyes he was! ;)

The Ceremony was outside by the Swan River in Perth, it was beautiful! All went smoothly and none of the bridal party slipt or fell on the stairs or the red carpet as we were walking down to the alter, man walking down those strairs in high heels is all we were worrried about until we got to flat ground :-p
Then after the ceremony was lots of photos for us in the bridal party and then the Reception. Everything was so well done from the table settings, to the food and wine, to the wedding singer/DJ - oh man he was brilliant! He started off singing jazz like songs and then when the dancing started he played really good, young peoples music! The dinner was fabulous and all the speeches went well! Then it was time to let down our hair and party!!

Overall... A Fantastic day and night was had by all!!! :) :) :)

To Hayley and Martin...The Biggest Congratulations Ever!! You two are wonderful together, Have the best of fun and Enjoy your future together!! Don't forget you always welcome any to lovely NZ!!

Hope this finds everyone well and good!!

Welcome to the West Island!

Australia is full of things that want to kill you, and I'm not just talking about AFL players. But so far I've seen nothing. Not a red back. Not a box jelly fish. Not even a snake. I do see 'roos on my way home from uni though.

Great pictures and interesting article. Hiring a limousine London as wedding transport is becoming an increasing popular choice for new married couples, according to empirical research from a leading national think-tank. The survey conducted showed that whilst couples are generally spending more on their weddings than ten years ago, value for money is also becoming more of an issue with couples looking to make their day as memorable as possible.
