Geezer Ball

After a long wait the off season is finally over and football is back. The pubs are packed on Saturday afternoons and our big pub down the road has a cover charge when there is a big match on. I have been glued to the tv since it has kicked off watching all the drama unfold while the transfer window is still open.

On Saturday I went to the first home match of the season for my club. Queens Park Rangers play at Loftus Rd which is in Shepherd's Bush if you know where that is, a couple of tube stops from my place. QPR v Cardiff City and man was I excited. Bit of a depressing 90mins though let me tell you, the joys of supporting this team. Final score was 2-0 to Cardiff and we were sat near to the away fans end so fair to say we got a bit of a ribbing. The atmosphere was awesome though, around 13,000 and even though our lads played like absolute mud we were still cheering them on with some chants. 'Sheep sheep sheep shagger!!!' was a welcoming gesture to the welsh supporters, which they followed up with a classic comeback '1-0 to the sheep shaggers!!'.

Frustrating day out but good to be there all the same.
U Rsssssssss!!!
Super Hoops, not so super today
We looked so dodgy on defence
Dirty away fans
